Over the past 12 years Wattblock has been working for 20 different local councils on strata sustainability programs. Here are some different types of services which have been provided to different councils....
Wattblock has also assisted with sustainability education for a number of different councils:
Wattblock has also done reporting across entire local government area populations of strata buildings for some councils:
Additional Strata Engagement by Wattblock which has benefitted Local Councils: Assisted strata schemes in Kur ring gai, North Sydney, Lane Cove and Woollahra to make use of local council rebates for LED Lighting, heat pumps, main switchboard upgrade, shared ev chargepoint and low power QR code activated power outlets. Assisted strata schemes in City of Sydney, North Sydney with NSW EV Charging Infrastructure grants. Assisted strata schemes in City of Sydney, North Sydney, Lane Cove to get ARENA electricity monitoring device subsidy. Assisted strata schemes in Willoughby to get ARENA low power ev charging subsidy. Assisted strata schemes in North Sydney, Inner West with NSW Solar for Apartment Resident (SoAR) grants. This led to these two areas being the two most successful areas of NSW applying for the NSW SoAR grant according to the NSW Government. North Sydney Council, Mosman Council, Lane Cove Council, Canada Bay Council, Ryde Council, Woollahra Council, Randwick Council have all used a similar format sustainability report for strata buildings from Wattblock. This has assisted these councils to lower the cost of sustainability report delivery as they are all leveraging off the same format report and incremental changes to a sustainability report format in one council area get reflected into sustainability reports for stratas in other LGA's. The average cost of a sustainability report using this common strata sustainability report format is 64% cheaper than the average Green Building Grant amount given by the City of Sydney (which includes a NABERS for Apartment Buildings rating) on a per lot adjusted basis. Wattblock has been able to provide cross-LGA efficiency, compared with a local council which tries to develop its own sustainability for strata program. Wattblock has also assisted the following state and terriroty governments and these engagements also assist Wattblock with its work in the local government sector.
