​Strata owners face a number of issues related to electric vehicle charging such as capacity planning,  how to bill, how to accommodate the growing demand for electric vehicles and what are the best by-laws to pass for electric vehicles. Wattblock has assisted over 500 apartment blocks to start preparing for EV charging.

Residential Strata Buildings

City of Sydney sponsored study into electric vehicle charging for residential strata. Includes national survey results from over 100 strata schemes and 20 case study assessments within the City of Sydney.
 
​Lord Mayor Clover Moore said the City of Sydney is proud to support Wattblock prepare for a future where more people living in apartments will need to charge their electric vehicles. “Wattblock’s research is a great example of the type of projects our environmental grants program is designed to support. Their insights will guide conversations about the infrastructure required in order to cope with more electric vehicles in our city.”
